EXPERIENCE:
This dates poster was created to announce a series of upcoming performances across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. The design centres around a custom 3D character developed in DAZ3D and animated to embody a confident, boss- energy that reflects the attitude and aesthetic of my artistic project. The smoking animation was used intentionally to give the character a sense of swag and presence, reinforcing themes of self-assurance and style that are central to my brand identity.
After creating and animating the character in DAZ3D, I imported it into Blender, where I refined the lighting, composition, and overall visual atmosphere. I also created a volumetric smoke simulation so that the smoke dynamically followed the movement of the cigarette, adding realism and enhancing the cinematic quality of the animation. My branding elements were then incorporated, and the final artwork was completed in Photoshop to produce both a still poster and an animated promotional video.
This project demonstrates my ability to merge multiple creative tools and disciplines to build a strong visual identity. By combining DAZ3D, Blender and Photoshop, I was able to create a promotional asset that not only communicates essential information but also captures the bold and futuristic energy of my music and live performances.
